After the client services contract has been signed and the deposit has been received, we can typically schedule the first meet and greet in 48 hours or less with care starting as soon as the caregiver is chosen by the client.

Yes. We perform an assessment/intake meeting during which we gather information required to create a customized care plan for the client. During this meeting we also conduct a home safety assessment.

Yes. Each client is assigned a care coordinator who can be reached daily during normal work hours. However, we have an on-call coordinator who can be reached after hours including weekends and holidays to address any staffing issues that may arise outside of normal business hours.

LightSpring Home Care has fully qualified skilled nurses on Staff in New Jersey, and in Pennsylvania. Our team of skilled nurses provides training, oversight and evaluation of caregivers to ensure overall quality of care.

New Jersey’s Homemaker-Health Aides (CHHAs) are certified by the Board of Nursing. Certification is dependent on completion of a training program and satisfactory performance on a competency evaluation; the individual must also clear a criminal background check.

In Pennsylvania, our home health aides are required to undergo formal training and a certification program as outlined by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and the PA Department of Health.

Yes. In both NJ and PA, LightSpring Home Care carries liability insurance, and all our caregivers are fully bonded and insured.

Our patients receive quality assurance calls and visits from our skilled nurses and our client services managers on a regular basis. We diligently strive to maintain the standards required for our accreditations in NJ and PA.

Yes. Once our caregivers achieve and demonstrate initial certification, they are provided with orientation and ongoing in-service training.

LightSpring Home Care uses HHAeXchange homecare operating software platform for the management of our operations. HHAeXchange is a comprehensive operating system that incorporates Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) to track and accurately record the beginning and end of all work shifts and visits, and this forms the basis for all our invoicing.

We accept Long Term Care (LTC) Insurance. However the reimbursement process may vary from insurance company to insurance company. In some cases we will bill patients directly and provide all documentation and follow up for patient reimbursement. In other instances the insurance company may make direct payments on behalf of the policy holder.
